Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Eric Stav had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Dalheim. MCFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Stav was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 14th minute, Eric Langen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mons Søberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Erik Dalheim was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Eric Stav capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Stav really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 22nd minute Eric Langen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mons Søberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mons Søberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arild Markussen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mons Søberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Langen in the 25th minute of play. MCFC's Erik Dalheim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save MCFC from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Toft. In the 31st match minute, MCFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Egil Nerhus to maneuver through the defense. Arild Markussen kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Erik Dalheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Runar Toft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Arild Markussen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Jon-Egil Nerhus made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jon-Egil Nerhus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCFC and the Torp IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Jon-Egil Nerhus got a free kick in the 51st minute. Erik Dalheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Toft in the 53rd minute of play. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rygg in the 59th minute of the match. Mons Søberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Arild Markussen sent off a good shot on target. Torp IF's Runar Skauen was substituted for Dagfinn Sylte. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Arild Markussen got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Eric Langen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes MCFC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Lind. In the 67th minute of the match Are Ausland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Dalheim skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute of the game Are Ausland made a throw-in which Kjetil-André Molteberg played forward. Erik Dalheim came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Torp IF's Martin Rygg. But to his dismay, Martin Rygg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Arild Markussen was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Arild Markussen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Eric Stav shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Dalheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MCFC defense, Thomas Obrestad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Dalheim. The MCFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Dalheim should have stopped the shot. A collision led to MCFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jon-Egil Nerhus hit a great ball. In the 86th minute Kjetil-André Molteberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Dalheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Dalheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rygg in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Daniel Knoph suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jon-Egil Nerhus was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Jon-Egil Nerhus got a free kick in the 91st minute. Torp IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
