Fredrik Flatmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Predators booed when Kvisgaard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Schanke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakob Klette was a little too slow when Dan Gamst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg Jakob Klette managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Predators's Dan Gamst fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jakob Klette came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Predators's Dan Gamst. But to his dismay, Dan Gamst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Christer Tvenge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jakob Klette, 3-0. Trond Welde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Gamst got free with Jakob Klette in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dan Gamst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Predators's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Gamst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakob Klette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Christer Tvenge took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jakob Klette to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dan Gamst to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Schanke's late challenge caught a Predators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Schanke helped the player get up and apologised. Predators's Jonathan Rugland was substituted for Federico Lon. A collision led to Kvisgaard getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Chris Schanke hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trond Welde in the 62nd minute of play forced Kvisgaard's goalkeeper Jakob Klette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Klette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the game, Predators's Trond Welde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jakob Klette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 74th minute Trond Welde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Klette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Kvisgaard's goal looked a bit too open when Trond Welde came free, but Jakob Klette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Gamst in the 78th minute of play forced Kvisgaard's goalkeeper Jakob Klette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Trond Welde made a precise shot to the right of Jakob Klette. Kvisgaard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kvisgaard's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bjørn Holter was slow to take the kick. During this time Predators's players had a chance to rest. Bjørn Holter made a great header on Predators's corner, it was just that Kvisgaard's Jakob Klette managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Kvisgaard defense, Trond Welde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakob Klette. The Kvisgaard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakob Klette should have stopped the shot. If Martin Holmefjord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kvisgaard's Martin Holmefjord got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trond Welde scored 9-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakob Klette, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Predators walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
