Olaf Bødtker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Björk in the 8th minute of the match. Olaf Bødtker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Predators booed when Kongsli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lundberg in the 19th minute of play forced Predators's goalkeeper Olaf Bødtker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Predators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ole-Gunnar Forberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Erik Straume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Kongsli's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Gamst came free, but Lenílson Cardozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Subin Rangachev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Bødtker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Kongsli got a corner. Predators's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Subin Rangachev ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kongsli's Tony Björk to fire away a dangerous shot which Olaf Bødtker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Predators's goalkeeper Olaf Bødtker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Subin Rangachev. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Gamst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olaf Bødtker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Roy Brenne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kongsli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 59 played minutes Trond Welde rounded Kongsli's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. In the 65th minute Dan Gamst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 67 minutes on the clock, Nils-Arne Simonsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Predators:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Olaf Bødtker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Lundberg in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Roy Brenne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Predators's Olaf Bødtker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Björk in the 81st minute of play. Olaf Bødtker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeppe Nyhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Björk scored 5-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Bødtker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Kongsli fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Kongsli's Tony Björk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olaf Bødtker came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kongsli's Sebastian Lundberg. But to his dismay, Sebastian Lundberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. 95 minutes into the match, Kongsli's Tony Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olaf Bødtker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Predators getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ole-Gunnar Forberg hit a great ball. Kongsli were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after Predators's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Subin Rangachev took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Sebastian Lundberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Kongsli's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
