In the 3rd minute Danny Riemers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joop Houtman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bram Meder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Britton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Wesley Klompe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimmy Britton. Niawier Banino SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Klompe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Reinier Wensing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joop Houtman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joop Houtman made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Reinier Wensing sent off a good shot on target. Reinier Wensing kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Reinier Wensing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Joop Houtman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jimmy Britton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Klompe, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Decathlon Dudes's Joop Houtman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny Riemers in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, Decathlon Dudes's Wesley Klompe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Britton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jimmy Britton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram Meder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Bram Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Reinier Wensing came free, but Joop Houtman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Klompe in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmy Britton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bram Meder came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Decathlon Dudes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bram Meder couldn't finish the play. Jimmy Britton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Klompe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wesley Klompe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Britton having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Wesley Klompe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Decathlon Dudes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niawier Banino SC the free kick. During the 72nd minute of the match Wesley Klompe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wesley Klompe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Niawier Banino SC's Jimmy Britton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Niawier Banino SC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Danny Riemers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niawier Banino SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny Riemers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jeroen Wel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Heiko Bijl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joop Houtman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
