After 8 played minutes Dongenvaart got a freekick which was hit by Gert Jan Sligter. After 12 played minutes Wings on Ice got a freekick which was hit by Hans Hoogstrate. After a rather tough play, Wings on Ice's Hans Hoogstrate got a free kick in the 16th minute. Stijn Spijker struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jacco Popken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dongenvaart. After 24 played minutes Wings on Ice got a freekick which was hit by Cor Klaassen. The audience thought a goal was coming when 孟文誉 got free with Jacco Popken in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wings on Ice's Hans Hoogstrate got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 孟文誉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dongenvaart's 孟文誉 was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jacco Popken stood somewhat misplaced when Stijn Spijker came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. After a rather tough play, Wings on Ice's Luuk Verheije got a free kick in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Schrage made a kick off. A collision led to Dongenvaart getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gert Jan Sligter hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Stijn Spijker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jacco Popken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟文誉 in the 67th minute of play forced Wings on Ice's goalkeeper Jacco Popken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacco Popken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stijn Spijker in the 73rd minute of play. Stijn Spijker struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jacco Popken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dongenvaart. When 孟文誉 came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Dongenvaart fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 孟文誉 couldn't finish the play. Wings on Ice's Jacco Popken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孟文誉 in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wings on Ice defense, 孟文誉 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacco Popken. The Wings on Ice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacco Popken should have stopped the shot. Hans Hoogstrate hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Dongenvaart's 孟文誉 in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wings on Ice's goalie prevented a goal. 98 minutes into the game, 孟文誉 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jacco Popken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dongenvaart fully deserved thier win.
