Biagio Carlucci kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Emanuele Tiberio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eraldo Albertosi during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carmine Corelli's late challenge caught a CG Studenti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 27 played minutes Teriasca got a freekick which was hit by Carmine Corelli. 29 minutes into the match, Teriasca's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Albertosi came free, but Fabio Negrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Cruciani struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Fabio Negrini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CG Studenti. The supporters of CG Studenti booed when Teriasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Zoccolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teriasca's goalkeeper Fabio Negrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anthony Pelati managed to get in a good position for a shot. CG Studenti's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Pelati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Negrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eraldo Albertosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Negrini having to interfere. CG Studenti's Anthony Pelati got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, CG Studenti's Eraldo Albertosi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eraldo Albertosi to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Eraldo Albertosi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CG Studenti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Albertosi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Teriasca getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Carmine Corelli hit a great ball. CG Studenti's Fabio Tondi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Riva in the 65th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Arrigo Rotili was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CG Studenti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teriasca the free kick. In the 69th match minute, CG Studenti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Albertosi to maneuver through the defense. Anthony Pelati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Negrini having to interfere. Eraldo Albertosi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fabio Negrini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, CG Studenti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Ferrini to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Teriasca's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Albertosi came free, but Fabio Negrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Pelati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Negrini having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Emiliano Rossi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Tondi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Although CG Studenti had been in control for most of the match, Teriasca still came away with the win.
