David Tiedemann hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Rutger Renz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gossa SC's Alvo Eiffel. But to his dismay, Alvo Eiffel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Leonid Rocks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spall FSV's goalkeeper Rutger Renz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Spall FSV's Eyjölfur Schultz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Rutger Renz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Rocks in the 19th minute of the match. Pascal Töpfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Werlich in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Gossa SC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kay Maschotta hit a great ball. If Alvo Eiffel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ulf Werlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spall FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Werlich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascal Töpfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rutger Renz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvo Eiffel in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Ulf Werlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pascal Töpfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvo Eiffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Renz having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvo Eiffel to make the kick off. Ulf Werlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pascal Töpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Werlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Töpfer having to interfere. Paul Glaner charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Glaner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spall FSV booed when Gossa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Glaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maiko Gruber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Töpfer having to make a save. If Kay Maschotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonid Rocks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rutger Renz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Alvo Eiffel rounded Spall FSV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Alvo Eiffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Renz having to interfere. Leonid Rocks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 played minutes Spall FSV got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Stefan Grefen. Ulf Werlich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Töpfer having to interfere. The Gossa SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gossa SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
