Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Burkhard Scharnhorst kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Werner Sattler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coldemüntje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spall FSV the free kick. After a rather tough play, Coldemüntje's Werner Sattler got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Ulf Werlich struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Welf Krasselt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spall FSV. Maiko Gruber's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Welf Krasselt firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 10th match minute, Coldemüntje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burkhard Scharnhorst to maneuver through the defense. David Tiedemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Werlich in the 19th minute of play forced Coldemüntje's goalkeeper Welf Krasselt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Coldemüntje's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulf Werlich fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ewald Gebert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Maiko Gruber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Welf Krasselt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gil Neher. If Maiko Gruber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Werlich was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coldemüntje's goalkeeper Welf Krasselt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Burkhard Scharnhorst during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Burkhard Scharnhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Rick Hörnschemeyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Burkhard Scharnhorst took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Rutger Renz to make any attempt to save it. 71 minutes into the match, Coldemüntje's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Werlich came free, but Welf Krasselt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulf Werlich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maiko Gruber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Welf Krasselt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Heinz Schurwanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Werlich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Coldemüntje's zone, Maiko Gruber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Welf Krasselt came out of the goal and Maiko Gruber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Tiedemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Maiko Gruber notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Coldemüntje's Welf Krasselt. Welf Krasselt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Spall FSV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
