When Tommy Lieckfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ziegelbrücke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Lieckfeldt couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gauthier Trierweiler sped through FC Kuh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bobby Tano. Gauthier Trierweiler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bobby Tano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Trierweiler in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Kuh's goalkeeper Bobby Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Ziegelbrücke's protests and gave Reik Wiler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Ziegelbrücke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reik Wiler to maneuver through the defense. After 40 minutes, Titus Schwartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kuh and the Ziegelbrücke players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes FC Kuh got a freekick which was hit by Tade Urfer. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Reik Wiler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ziegelbrücke's supporters rose to their feet, but Reik Wiler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bobby Tano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gauthier Trierweiler made a kick off. Fred-Marc Iosif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ephraim Haller in the 59th minute of the match. Fred-Marc Iosif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ephraim Haller, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Herger in the 64th minute of play forced FC Kuh's goalkeeper Bobby Tano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobby Tano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 92 played minutes FC Kuh got a freekick which was hit by Tade Urfer. In the 94th minute, one of Ziegelbrücke:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ziegelbrücke. Stefan Gygax shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some careless play in the Ziegelbrücke defense, Salvatore Acciaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred-Marc Iosif. The Ziegelbrücke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred-Marc Iosif should have stopped the shot. Ziegelbrücke's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
