The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Ziegelbrücke:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ehrendingen:s goal. The goalkeeper, Fred-Marc Iosif, was totally fooled by Ehrendingen's Gregoire Nannarone, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gauthier Trierweiler hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ehrendingen booed when Ziegelbrücke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Lieckfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Marc Borner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fred-Marc Iosif. The goal made the score 0-5. Marc Borner's late challenge caught a Ziegelbrücke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Gauthier Trierweiler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Egger was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ehrendingen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
