An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias de Pelsmaecker in the 41st minute of play forced Den Hofleverancier's goalkeeper Carl-Rune Liverød to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes Den Hofleverancier got a freekick which was hit by Johan Rymenans. 45 minutes into the match, Den Hofleverancier's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Meijers came free, but Carl-Rune Liverød reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tommy Cockaerts to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tjorven Ingelborgs during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Matias De Pauw managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitre SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias De Pauw was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl-Rune Liverød breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
