In the 2nd match minute, Buitre SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Meijers to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Jannick Huveneers in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Buitre SC's Nico Laureijs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Meijers in the 9th minute of play forced VVV Vurige Vossen's goalkeeper Werner Hoes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buitre SC's Tjorven Ingelborgs quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Romain Van Hoeij, made in the 11th minute of the game. Werner Hoes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Meijers in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute Mathieu Meijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Hoes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Buitre SC's Mathieu Meijers ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Werner Hoes. Werner Hoes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save VVV Vurige Vossen from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, VVV Vurige Vossen's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias de Pelsmaecker came free, but Werner Hoes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Werner Hoes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mathieu Meijers in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Yannik Van Der Veecken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Werner Hoes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Werner Hoes. Werner Hoes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathieu Meijers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Werner Hoes. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Meijers in the 43rd minute of play. Werner Hoes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathieu Meijers in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joonatan Lembrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes VVV Vurige Vossen got a freekick which was hit by Joonatan Lembrechts. 53 minutes into the match, VVV Vurige Vossen's goal looked a bit too open when Yanniek Niewens came free, but Werner Hoes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Yannik Van Der Veecken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VVV Vurige Vossen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buitre SC the free kick. Yannik Van Der Veecken kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Werner Hoes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Meijers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as VVV Vurige Vossen's Joonatan Lembrechts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bastiaan Callens. That made the score 4-1 after 64 minutes of play. Werner Hoes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Laureijs in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Mattias de Pelsmaecker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joonatan Lembrechts might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastiaan Callens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joonatan Lembrechts ran back to his position shaking his head. Werner Hoes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Meijers in the 79th minute of play. Romain Van Hoeij made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Buitre SC's Yanniek Niewens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu Meijers in the 83rd minute of play forced VVV Vurige Vossen's goalkeeper Werner Hoes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Hoes came out of the goal and Mathieu Meijers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias de Pelsmaecker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Hoes having to interfere. Werner Hoes came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buitre SC's Mathieu Meijers. But to his dismay, Mathieu Meijers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Werner Hoes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Buitre SC's Mathieu Meijers. But to his dismay, Mathieu Meijers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Buitre SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
