Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jarno Vleminx made the kick off and thus started the match. Jarno Vleminx spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Christofere Van Meirhaeghe grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. After 4 played minutes Sparkling Team got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik-Jan Van Der Taelen. Theo Koninkx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christofere Van Meirhaeghe. Sparkling Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benfica Lisboà's Felix Teunens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylvan Meersmans in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Benfica Lisboà's Jarno Vleminx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christofere Van Meirhaeghe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Benfica Lisboà's Henri-Xavier Belmans got a free kick in the 13th minute. Henri-Xavier Belmans kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 24th play minute Vince Van Geel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Christofere Van Meirhaeghe. 1-0. When Dante Bosbeeck fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sparkling Team's protests and gave Dante Bosbeeck a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Benfica Lisboà booed when Sparkling Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Bosbeeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Benfica Lisboà's Henri-Xavier Belmans in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Sparkling Team's Christofere Van Meirhaeghe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sparkling Team from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Sparkling Team getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joerie Schamp hit a great ball. Sylvan Meersmans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Felix Teunens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benfica Lisboà's Jarno Vleminx in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sparkling Team's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sylvan Meersmans made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Jarno Vleminx managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benfica Lisboà's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarno Vleminx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christofere Van Meirhaeghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55thth minute of the game Vince Van Geel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sparkling Team's Christofere Van Meirhaeghe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vince Van Geel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christofere Van Meirhaeghe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan Meersmans in the 60th minute of play forced Benfica Lisboà's goalkeeper Felix Teunens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarno Vleminx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Christofere Van Meirhaeghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Sparkling Team defense, Jarno Vleminx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christofere Van Meirhaeghe. The Sparkling Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christofere Van Meirhaeghe should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Benfica Lisboà was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Winnepenninck to maneuver through the defense. Arnauld Denturck was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Sparkling Team's Sylvan Meersmans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Teunens. Felix Teunens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Mathieux De Weyngaert hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Joerie Schamp was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Vince Van Geel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Christofere Van Meirhaeghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christofere Van Meirhaeghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarno Vleminx in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Jarno Vleminx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christofere Van Meirhaeghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Henri-Xavier Belmans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Benfica Lisboà's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sparkling Team the free kick. The audience was convinced that Jarno Vleminx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christofere Van Meirhaeghe was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Benfica Lisboà's Vince Van Geel got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Benfica Lisboà had won after a very even match.
