Jeremy Walder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Neys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubert Hollandts was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, RSC Sint-Gillis-Waas's Bastiaan Matthys got a free kick in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, LFC's Jeremy Walder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rob Neys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 64 played minutes LFC got a freekick which was hit by Kamiel Deflandre. In the 67th minute of the match Lander Schouters shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olliver De Maerschalckx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olliver De Maerschalckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanis Terreur in the 70th minute of the match. Jeremy Walder in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rob Neys, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hubert Hollandts succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. After 84 played minutes RSC Sint-Gillis-Waas got a freekick which was hit by Bartjan Swings. Jeremy Walder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rob Neys made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Sint-Gillis-Waas's zone, Jeremy Walder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Neys came out of the goal and Jeremy Walder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jeremy Walder came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the LFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Walder couldn't finish the play. The RSC Sint-Gillis-Waas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
