Marek Michna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Demeulemeester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Van Wontergem was the one to do the kick off. Matt De Messemaekere kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lennert Daneels managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aalbeked's supporters rose to their feet, but Lennert Daneels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Michna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fc Brujas booed when Aalbeked was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Callaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Carel Jonckers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Van Huruck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 70 minutes of play, Aalbeked's Willy Goolen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Michna was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Aalbeked defense, Henri Van Wontergem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Van Huruck. The Aalbeked fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Van Huruck should have stopped the shot. Jaques Van Beetz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Matt De Messemaekere got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Aalbeked made a substitution. Henri-Patrick Paelemans replaced Ricky Uytdebroeck. In the 88th minute, Matt De Messemaekere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willy Goolen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Aalbeked's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aalbeked's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
