Janes De Ceijser took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerrit Cappels. Gerrit Cappels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Minion Mim's Gerrit Cappels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quillian Van Beveren in the 9th minute of play. Gerrit Cappels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janes De Ceijser, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 minutes of play, Sint-Niklaas's Gert Van der Veeren made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerrit Cappels was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Quillian Van Beveren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sint-Niklaas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 19th minute, Quillian Van Beveren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerrit Cappels was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gerrit Cappels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janes De Ceijser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerrit Cappels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Van der Veeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Janes De Ceijser came free, but Gerrit Cappels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Van der Veeren came free, but Gerrit Cappels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascal Du Sausois received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Roofhoof to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Pascal Du Sausois managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minion Mim's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Du Sausois was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Pieter Sempels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sint-Niklaas's goalkeeper Jan-Pieter Sempels, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Minion Mim's Louis Tailleur seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Louis Tailleur the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Minion Mim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Louis Tailleur had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janes De Ceijser got free with Gerrit Cappels in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Quillian Van Beveren came free, but Gerrit Cappels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Gert Van der Veeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Cappels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Cappels was a little too slow when Janes De Ceijser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-6. Gerrit Cappels made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Janes De Ceijser sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Benoit Ooms shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Pieter Sempels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Jimmy Vinckx threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sint-Niklaas's Willem-Jan Verheugen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gerrit Cappels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Van der Veeren in the 94th minute of the match. Janes De Ceijser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gerrit Cappels made a huge save. 97 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Van der Veeren came free, but Gerrit Cappels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sint-Niklaas played a much better game than Minion Mim and deserved their victory. The Minion Mim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
