Spectators: 8445 (Terracing: 6335, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ryan Bruyninckx made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octave Rijmenams during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Octave Rijmenams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute Ryan Bruyninckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilídio Malafaia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lichten's Octave Rijmenams got his second yellow card of the match in the 7th minute. The referee ordered Octave Rijmenams off the ground. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lichten! Ilídio Malafaia had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Ryan Bruyninckx's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 9th play minute Ryan Bruyninckx came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ilídio Malafaia. 1-0. Lichten were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after SKA Beekskes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mars Overmark took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SKA Beekskes's goalie and right to Trifon Iskrenov. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SKA Beekskes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mars Overmark kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Leon Smekens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Bruyninckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 23 minutes of play, Lichten's Andries Rompen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberigo Palmisano was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leon Smekens fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SKA Beekskes's protests and gave Leon Smekens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lichten booed when SKA Beekskes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Smekens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberigo Palmisano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Bienienda in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliusz Bienienda in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberigo Palmisano saved SKA Beekskes from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match, Leon Smekens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ilídio Malafaia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Tommie Debock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ryan Bruyninckx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliusz Bienienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo Palmisano having to interfere. Ilídio Malafaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommie Debock in the 40th minute of play. After 42 played minutes SKA Beekskes got a freekick which was hit by Leon Smekens. After 44 minutes, Jonathan Van Leempten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lichten and the SKA Beekskes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lichten's Jonathan Van Leempten got a free kick in the 44th minute. With an all-out effort, SKA Beekskes's Ilídio Malafaia threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ryan Bruyninckx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lichten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pascal Kest was slow to take the kick. During this time SKA Beekskes's players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th match minute, Lichten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Van Leempten to maneuver through the defense. Ilídio Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Smekens, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Aureliusz Bienienda came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lichten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliusz Bienienda couldn't finish the play. SKA Beekskes's Harold Ilegems was substituted for Guillaume Borginions. The throw-in from Brent-Jan Van Beringen in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Lichten's Yavuz Selim User. Aureliusz Bienienda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Alberigo Palmisano made a huge save. SKA Beekskes's Alberigo Palmisano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save SKA Beekskes from getting a goal against them. Ilídio Malafaia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Smekens in the 77th minute of play. Kevin Cedeno hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Kevin Cedeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, SKA Beekskes's Simon Goddez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Aureliusz Bienienda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberigo Palmisano. SKA Beekskes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliusz Bienienda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ilídio Malafaia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Bruyninckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Aureliusz Bienienda charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliusz Bienienda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Lichten got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Bienienda. SKA Beekskes were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
