Ciudad-Ganda's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aksel Hope was slow to take the kick. During this time Rani Boys's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Aksel Hope got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ray Van Gorp quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute, Octaaf Nijs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Rani Boys's Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Rani Boys from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda booed when Rani Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aksel Hope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Youri Spailer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Youri Spailer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Rani Boys's Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Rani Boys's Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester got control of the ball when Youri Spailer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rani Boys's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Octaaf Nijs 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. If Octaaf Nijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermín Durango received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermín Durango slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Octaaf Nijs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aksel Hope to make the kick off. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Spailer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermín Durango in the 54th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Octaaf Nijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 76 minutes into the game, Fermín Durango cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Fermín Durango came free, but Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Rani Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diedrik Reiniers to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Octaaf Nijs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pieter-Maarten Demeulemeester was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ray Van Gorp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aksel Hope's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Rani Boys were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Real F.C. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda fully deserved thier win.
