Pabing SV's Hendrik Heimann was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gunnar Taevere in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gunnar Taevere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andi Dörfler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Dörfler in the 17th minute of play forced Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pabing SV getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Sebastian Hartmann hit a great ball. Eduard Säuml might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Schmielau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduard Säuml ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes, Andi Dörfler made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galatasaray SK's Gunnar Taevere tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pabing SV's Silvestre Flor got a free kick in the 27th minute. Hannes Schmielau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klaus Beudel's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Pabing SV's Jeremiah St. Juste made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Taevere was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Säuml in the 38th minute of play forced Pabing SV's goalkeeper Hannes Schmielau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Arto Kaldmaa got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Andi Dörfler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jeremiah St. Juste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduard Säuml to make the kick off. Robin-Pascal Schäben struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gunnar Taevere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pabing SV. With a little luck, Galatasaray SK's Gunnar Taevere got control of the ball when Jeremiah St. Juste tried to sneak it across the goal line.
