Gunnar Taevere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Laguna in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Klaus Beudel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Ubarna. FISHBONE 06's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klaus Beudel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klaus Beudel to make the kick off. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joélson Laguna in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Taevere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boleslaw Marciewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gavino Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. FISHBONE 06's Joélson Laguna started the play with his kick off. Gunnar Taevere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvir Bešimović went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The FISHBONE 06 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
