Steaua București's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Agudin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10th minute, Vali Craia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Codrin Văcaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ertaç Hızlan could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codrin Văcaru got free with Ertaç Hızlan in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ertaç Hızlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabi Balint in the 17th minute of the match. Ertaç Hızlan came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua București's Codrin Văcaru. But to his dismay, Codrin Văcaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emil Stănică lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu. The goalkeeper, Ertaç Hızlan, was totally fooled by Steaua București's Corneliu Jivulescu, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Gabi Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu's Avram Ceaușu got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Gabi Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Vorniceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Steaua București booed when Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Iosifian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Lăcătușu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Ertaç Hızlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Văcaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Nicodim Hațegan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Mihăiţă Neața didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu. After 77 minutes, Vali Craia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steaua București and the Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Steaua București got a freekick which was hit by Vali Craia. Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu's Ertaç Hızlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Văcaru in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Nicodim Hațegan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu and the Steaua București players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Steaua București getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vali Craia hit a great ball. Emilian Vorniceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Emilian Vorniceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marius Lăcătușu's late challenge caught a Frizeria✂ Finu si Nasu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Lăcătușu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Steaua București getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marius Lăcătușu hit a great ball.
