The referee gave Gigi Ştefoi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 11 minutes into the match, Cocosul's Manole Marghescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sven Ambjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Buceceanu in the 18th minute of the match. REBCOS's Marcel Horodincă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Plopeanu in the 22nd minute of play. Marcel Horodincă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Plopeanu in the 24th minute of the match. Horia Plopeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
