After having played for 21 minutes, Iustin Diaconescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Diaconescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panait Enoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Olesti's Iustin Diaconescu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Gherguț to make the kick off. But to his dismay, Iustin Diaconescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 71st minute, Traian Ciuhandu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octav Gherguț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Ciobanu having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Olesti's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Cluceru came free, but Petruț Stănculescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Iustin Diaconescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octav Gherguț struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Costin Ciobanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olesti. Olesti's Cătălin Dindelegan got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Traian Ciuhandu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C. BUDENI the free kick. Traian Ciuhandu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Olesti played a much better game than F.C. BUDENI and deserved their victory. The F.C. BUDENI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
