Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hüsrev Hayırlı to make the kick off. Hüsrev Hayırlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinç Ülküm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 93 played minutes Corlu got a freekick which was hit by Ünsal Kabil. Ahmet Hafiz Terzioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinç Ülküm having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corlu had won after a very even match.
