Fahrettin Karin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Innokentiy Dudarev in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Gencal Özalpman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Saygın Özerek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencal Özalpman in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Innokentiy Dudarev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gencal Özalpman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fahrettin Karin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.J Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Gencal Özalpman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Gencal Özalpman came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Imperial Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencal Özalpman couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes of play, Imperial Football Club's Eşref Muzaffer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdi Saygın Özerek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Bornova's J.J Macias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fahrettin Karin. Fahrettin Karin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 28th minute of the match Imperial Football Club got a corner. Bornova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alim Rıfkı ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alim Rıfkı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abdi Saygın Özerek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fahrettin Karin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Tarkan Okatay, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Gencal Özalpman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Abdi Saygın Özerek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eşref Muzaffer went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Nedret in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Hilbert Grevsby got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Gencal Özalpman came free, but Abdi Saygın Özerek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Eşref Muzaffer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdi Saygın Özerek was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When Battal Nedret came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Imperial Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Nedret couldn't finish the play. The Bornova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Imperial Football Club were winning 1-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for J.J Macias to strike the kick off in the second half. Imperial Football Club's Eşref Muzaffer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Nedret, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperial Football Club's Eşref Muzaffer. But to his dismay, Eşref Muzaffer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Abdi Saygın Özerek didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 1-8. In the 63rd minute, Battal Nedret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperial Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-9. In the 68th minute, Eşref Muzaffer made a precise shot to the right of Abdi Saygın Özerek. Bornova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-10. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencal Özalpman in the 71st minute of the match. Bornova's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Battal Nedret scored to the left of an out of position Abdi Saygın Özerek, making the score, 1-11. In the 78th minute, Battal Nedret reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abdi Saygın Özerek. The goal made the score 1-12. Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eşref Muzaffer in the 86th minute of play. The throw-in from Hilbert Grevsby in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Imperial Football Club's Ferid Pakel. Abdi Saygın Özerek made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Eşref Muzaffer sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencal Özalpman got free with Abdi Saygın Özerek in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdi Saygın Özerek was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Eşref Muzaffer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eşref Muzaffer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-13. Imperial Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
