The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feridun Yengi during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gültepe's Feridun Yengi got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Abdi Saygın Özerek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdi Saygın Özerek came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Gültepe's Can Savtekin. But to his dismay, Can Savtekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Birant Yesar during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Birant Yesar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Can Savtekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gültepe and the Bornova players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gültepe's Can Savtekin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Bornova getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ahmet Oğuz Direnç hit a great ball. Can Savtekin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdi Saygın Özerek. Bornova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Gültepe's goalkeeper Isac Baião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by J.J Macias.

After a rather tough play, Bornova's Atilla Tarkan Okatay got a free kick in the 54th minute. 1-5 became the score in the 61st minute when Birant Yesar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Atilla Tarkan Okatay struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Isac Baião didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bornova. With a little luck, Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek got control of the ball when Birant Yesar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Innokentiy Dudarev got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, J.J Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek got control of the ball when Birant Yesar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Yetkiner Otaç recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdi Saygın Özerek. Yetkiner Otaç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. The Bornova supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gültepe's performance. The match ended with a win for Gültepe.
