After having played for 4 minutes, J.J Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bornova's supporters crossed their fingers, but J.J Macias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Klement Wawro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdi Saygın Özerek. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. After a rather tough play, TUNC96's Hakkı Akata got a free kick in the 10th minute. If Atilla Tarkan Okatay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes TUNC96 got a freekick which was hit by Mutlu Akoğlu. 15 minutes into the match, Bornova's goalkeeper Abdi Saygın Özerek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klement Wawro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling J.J Macias in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Ozan Pakkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Klement Wawro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the TUNC96 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klement Wawro couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Bornova's J.J Macias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Ozan Pakkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Klement Wawro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Saygın Özerek having to interfere. TUNC96's Ahmet Ozan Pakkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.J Macias in the 43rd minute of play. Ahmet Ozan Pakkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from J.J Macias in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for J.J Macias to strike the kick off in the second half. J.J Macias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ahmet Ozan Pakkan made a huge save. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Korcan Serafet in the 55th minute of the match. Abdi Saygın Özerek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Klement Wawro's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute TUNC96 were awarded a corner. Aycan Devrim went to the cornerflag to take it. After 61 played minutes TUNC96 got a freekick which was hit by Aycan Devrim. After some careless play in the TUNC96 defense, J.J Macias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Ozan Pakkan. The TUNC96 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Ozan Pakkan should have stopped the shot. Abdi Saygın Özerek came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by TUNC96's Klement Wawro. But to his dismay, Klement Wawro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 71st minute, Atilla Tarkan Okatay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Kunter Okyanus fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TUNC96's protests and gave Kunter Okyanus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd minute, Kunter Okyanus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdi Saygın Özerek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Wawro in the 76th minute of the match. J.J Macias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Ozan Pakkan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th minute, TUNC96's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after J.J Macias fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. TUNC96's Aycan Devrim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hilbert Grevsby, made in the 87th minute of the game. When Innokentiy Dudarev fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bornova's protests and gave Innokentiy Dudarev a yellow card for diving instead. Innokentiy Dudarev hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Wawro came free, but Abdi Saygın Özerek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mustafa Ali Türek made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Atilla Tarkan Okatay immediately put the ball in play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Klement Wawro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bornova's Abdi Saygın Özerek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
