Spectators: 5305 (Terracing: 4250, Seating: 1050, VIP seats: 5) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fahhad Al Rodhan kicked off to start the match. In the 7th minute, Mahdi Al Harban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saif Al Hajri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yousef Al Dabos in the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Romanalafia FC's Ali Al Sarraf got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Mahdi Al Harban was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romanalafia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horsham AFC the free kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Yousef Al Dabos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horsham AFC's Saif Al Hajri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, Romanalafia FC's Abdelnaser Al Sherazi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Abdelnaser Al Sherazi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Romanalafia FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Abdelnaser Al Sherazi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Romanalafia FC! Romanalafia FC's Mnawer Al Srae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yasser Al Dowaisan in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of Horsham AFC booed when Romanalafia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belal Al Sherazi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Romanalafia FC's zone, Morad Bo Abbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mnawer Al Srae came out of the goal and Morad Bo Abbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute of the match Yasser Al Dowaisan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mnawer Al Srae showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Horsham AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fuad Al Amer hit a great ball. Mahdi Al Harban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahdi Al Harban kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Romanalafia FC's Mnawer Al Srae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Romanalafia FC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute of the match, Fahhad Al Rodhan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mnawer Al Srae saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jawad Al Enzi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jawad Al Enzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jawad Al Enzi hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Nemir Al Fadhalah fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 88th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After some careless play in the Horsham AFC defense, Mahdi Al Harban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saif Al Hajri. The Horsham AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saif Al Hajri should have stopped the shot. Romanalafia FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Horsham AFC had controlled the match.
