In the 16th minute of the match, Edmonds Day tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edwardo Franklin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Brandes Atkin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bunjil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandes Atkin couldn't finish the play. Isidro Delfino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwardo Franklin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Tucknott in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kay Possov prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Isidro Delfino made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kahibah's Edmonds Day got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Isidro Delfino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kahibah's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bunjil the free kick. In the 56th minute, Isidro Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Bunjil's Brandes Atkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kay Possov. Kay Possov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Michael Tucknott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kay Possov having to interfere. Bunjil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brynn Goucher in the 69th minute. Brandes Atkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Kay Possov managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Bunjil's Michael Tucknott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kay Possov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Tucknott in the 77th minute. Kay Possov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brynn Goucher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kahibah's Kay Possov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandes Atkin in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandes Atkin in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kay Possov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes, Norman Obrien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kahibah and the Bunjil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kay Possov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandes Atkin in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Michael Tucknott managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunjil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Tucknott was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
