Johnny Gray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidayat Rajah in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cromer F's Steve Ward got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Barrow City's Sean Pillai seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sean Pillai the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barrow City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sean Pillai had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of Barrow City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Cromer F a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carl Halford, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barrow City's Danish Peng. 1-0. In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Cromer F. Carl Halford stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danish Peng. 2-0. Dan Kessler hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Marek Moody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Barrow City fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Barrow City's Hidayat Rajah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dan Kessler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marek Moody fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danish Peng having to interfere. Jithu Swee kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hidayat Rajah made a kick off. The supporters of Cromer F booed when Barrow City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azam Hsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dan Kessler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Barrow City's Hidayat Rajah slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johnny Gray. That made the score 2-2 after 54 minutes of play. After 58 played minutes Barrow City got a freekick which was hit by Azam Hsin. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrow City's goalkeeper Danish Peng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Moody in the 61st minute of play forced Barrow City's goalkeeper Danish Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danish Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Kessler, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Dan Kessler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danish Peng. Barrow City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Kessler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The supporters of Barrow City booed when Cromer F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guy Bryden didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Barrow City's Johnny Gray threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hidayat Rajah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Azam Hsin's late challenge caught a Cromer F's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azam Hsin helped the player get up and apologised. Azam Hsin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Danish Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Snowden in the 75th minute of play. Barrow City's Hidayat Rajah got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gara Koh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 minutes, Franz Snowden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cromer F and the Barrow City players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barrow City booed when Cromer F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Snowden didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Dan Kessler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danish Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Cromer F's Franz Snowden made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danish Peng was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Kessler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Barrow City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cromer F.
