Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Doug Armstrong kicked off to start the match. Dane Clist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Le Tissier, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Cromer F booed when Lavendon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Auty didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Doug Armstrong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cody Theobold. Lavendon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doug Armstrong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 36th minute, Dennis Douglas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Lavendon FC's Marek Styles tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cromer F's Dennis Faulkner got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Dane Clist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Willmott, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Cromer F's goal looked a bit too open when Keith Le Tissier came free, but Dane Clist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dion Pollock lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Lavendon FC a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marek Styles, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cromer F's Dane Clist. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Max Scriven made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Max Scriven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cromer F's Dane Clist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lavendon FC's Cody Theobold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Rice in the 63rd minute of play. Dane Clist made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Keith Le Tissier sent off a good shot on target. Cody Theobold came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cromer F's Graeme Rice. But to his dismay, Graeme Rice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 83 minutes into the match, Keith Le Tissier notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Cromer F's Dane Clist. Dane Clist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th match minute, Cromer F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Rice to maneuver through the defense. Max Scriven struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Dane Clist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavendon FC. Cromer F's Graeme Rice got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Keith Le Tissier got free with Dane Clist in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cromer F had won after a very even match.
