Seating: 4027, VIP seats: 350) 9 minutes into the match, Alexander Pillai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pikanate Savetvet, 1-0. Pikanate Savetvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Pillai, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Pillai in the 20th minute of play forced U21 Thailand's goalkeeper Pikanate Savetvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, U21 Thailand's goalkeeper Pikanate Savetvet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clive Boon. 24 minutes into the match, Gage Pieng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pikanate Savetvet. U21 Thailand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gage Pieng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Chiratorn Wongsanam hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Piyapong Jamjai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Thailand's Pikanate Savetvet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Thailand from getting a goal against them. Pikanate Savetvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Pillai, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Adam Seng took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Pikanate Savetvet to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of U21 Thailand booed when U21 Singapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zak Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes U21 Thailand got a freekick which was hit by Jirapong Yemyen. In the 46th minute, Jirapong Yemyen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Seng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alexander Pillai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pikanate Savetvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pikanate Savetvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clive Boon in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Thailand's zone, Alexander Pillai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pikanate Savetvet came out of the goal and Alexander Pillai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Thananiti Jaiyen put in a rough tackle. Thananiti Jaiyen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Clive Boon took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pikanate Savetvet. Pikanate Savetvet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 72nd minute Clive Boon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pikanate Savetvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Adam Seng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Pikanate Savetvet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zak Yang during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zak Yang hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pikanate Savetvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Seng in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Thitirut Seekasorn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Thailand's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Singapore the free kick. After 82 played minutes U21 Thailand got a freekick which was hit by Thitirut Seekasorn. In the 87th minute, Adam Seng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Singapore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 90th minute, Gage Pieng made a precise shot to the right of Pikanate Savetvet. U21 Thailand's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Pikanate Savetvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. U21 Singapore walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
