Säyid Abdasov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucu Fernández in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, U21 Andorra's goal looked a bit too open when Tağı Cabbarov came free, but Conor McGregor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cucu Fernández in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Säyid Abdasov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, U21 Azerbaijan's Säyid Abdasov got control of the ball when Cucu Fernández tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cucu Fernández got free with Säyid Abdasov in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Cucu Fernández got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Säyid Abdasov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Reggie Land kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Cucu Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Säyid Abdasov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Andorra's Ash Clegg got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tağı Cabbarov in the 46th minute of play forced U21 Andorra's goalkeeper Conor McGregor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

U21 Andorra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Azerbaijan the free kick. U21 Azerbaijan's Säyid Abdasov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cucu Fernández in the 78th minute of play. Säyid Abdasov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Blackwater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Andorra were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after U21 Azerbaijan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cucu Fernández took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cucu Fernández in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Säyid Abdasov saved U21 Azerbaijan from getting behind. U21 Andorra's Conor McGregor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Andorra from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sättar Budaqov got free with Conor McGregor in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Säyid Abdasov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cucu Fernández in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the U21 Azerbaijan players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for U21 Andorra.
