Indiana Jones ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbjörn Garpsson saved U21 Iceland from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indiana Jones in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbjörn Garpsson saved U21 Iceland from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Indiana Jones in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbjörn Garpsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arnkell Hamarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Arnkell Hamarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnkell Hamarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. U21 Iceland's Herbjörn Garpsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metin Tekin in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Leon Margeirsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Iceland and the U21 Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herbjörn Garpsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Chabot, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Indiana Jones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes of play, U21 Canada's Indiana Jones made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbjörn Garpsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Indiana Jones to strike the kick off in the second half. Indiana Jones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, U21 Iceland's goalkeeper Herbjörn Garpsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metin Tekin. After 55 minutes, Rafnar Þorgerisson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Iceland and the U21 Canada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 Iceland's Rafnar Þorgerisson got a free kick in the 55th minute. U21 Canada's Indiana Jones was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. U21 Canada made a substitution. Richie McIntosh replaced Mitch Redmond. Uni Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. U21 Canada's Dee Larsen was substituted for Donovan Vincent. U21 Iceland's Herbjörn Garpsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Iceland from getting a goal against them. Uni Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Leon Margeirsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. If Metin Tekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Uni Gunnarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Iceland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uni Gunnarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Peter Jósafatsson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Iceland's protests and gave Peter Jósafatsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of U21 Canada booed when U21 Iceland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Jósafatsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Metin Tekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbjörn Garpsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the U21 Canada defense, Rafnar Þorgerisson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Buford Lim. The U21 Canada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Buford Lim should have stopped the shot. Uni Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
