Seating: 3316, VIP seats: 288) Hólmþór Loðmundsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute Filip Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Szczepan Kojder got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to U21 Iceland getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hólmþór Loðmundsson hit a great ball. Arnes Jakobsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Tepper's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Ebelegbulam Joachimsmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Szczepan Kojder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnes Jakobsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Milosz Tepper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arnes Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Milosz Tepper sped through U21 Iceland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnes Jakobsson. In the 33rd minute Robertinho Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnes Jakobsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Tepper, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Filip Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnes Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when U21 Iceland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Skafti Davíðsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The U21 Poland fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when U21 Poland's Milosz Tepper looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half U21 Poland were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milosz Tepper made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Robertinho Lewandowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnes Jakobsson, 0-4. Filip Bochinski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Tepper in the 56th minute of play forced U21 Iceland's goalkeeper Arnes Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Robert Baggio hit a great ball. U21 Poland's Barnaba Duda was substituted for Szczepan Kojder. U21 Poland's Ksawery Paprotny was substituted for Milosz Tepper. Robert Baggio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Jaan Škarpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnes Jakobsson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when U21 Poland's Ksawery Paprotny shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Robert Baggio took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Arnes Jakobsson to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Arnes Jakobsson managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when U21 Poland's Ksawery Paprotny fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. U21 Iceland's Arnes Jakobsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Iceland from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Paprotny in the 93rd minute of play forced U21 Iceland's goalkeeper Arnes Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The U21 Iceland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U21 Poland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
