Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rory Hallyard started the match with the kick off. Valentas Gražulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rory Hallyard got free with Arvydas Cieška in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led to Lithuania's Juras Stanevičius getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Lithuania's Arvydas Cieška played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Carr in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lithuania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robbie Baptist was slow to take the kick. During this time Scotland's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Scotland's corner Robbie Baptist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arvydas Cieška quite easily take care of the ball. Emilis Černiauskas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Conor Ashmore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lithuania's Arvydas Cieška was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute, Juras Stanevičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lithuania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Scotland booed when Lithuania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deimantas Keršys didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lithuania's zone, Rory Hallyard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvydas Cieška came out of the goal and Rory Hallyard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lithuania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kristijonas Beleckas in the 33rd minute. The corner led to Lithuania's Juras Stanevičius getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Shane Campbell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinaras Zapalskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arvydas Cieška showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Ashmore in the 37th minute of the match. Shane Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentas Gražulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilis Černiauskas made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Emilis Černiauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Shane Campbell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shane Campbell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilis Černiauskas in the 53rd minute. Arvydas Cieška took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Carr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deimantas Keršys lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lithuania! In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Scotland. Robbie Baptist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arvydas Cieška. 1-3. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Shane Campbell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arvydas Cieška came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Scotland's Elliot Carr. But to his dismay, Elliot Carr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Lithuania made a substitution. Nerijus Dundulis replaced Dinaras Zapalskis. In the 88th minute, Juras Stanevičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lithuania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After 93 played minutes Lithuania got a freekick which was hit by Darijus Matolis. In the 97th minute, Jay Limont ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvydas Cieška was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lithuania had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
