The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pierce Fenton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Andy Rivera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, U21 Peru's Andy Rivera got control of the ball when Pierce Fenton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andy Rivera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Pierce Fenton sent off a good shot on target. Loi Ceceil's late challenge caught a U21 England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The U21 Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
