6 minutes into the match, Piotr Jakisz sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Mirek Pavlica threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Piotr Jakisz this time. 7 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Seibert came free, but Borys Siekierka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Radowit Pruss got a free kick in the 9th minute. Miroslav Milata struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Borys Siekierka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Czech Republic. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Napoleon Konopka managed to get in a good position for a shot. U21 Poland's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Konopka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirek Pavlica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Radowit Polakowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mirek Pavlica was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The U21 Poland fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when U21 Poland's Radowit Polakowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Borys Siekierka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Duchek in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Andrzejewski in the 23rd minute of play forced U21 Czech Republic's goalkeeper Mirek Pavlica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radowit Polakowski in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirek Pavlica saved U21 Czech Republic from getting behind. Borys Siekierka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Duda in the 25th minute of play. The corner ended in Miroslav Milata almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U21 Poland's Borys Siekierka did a great save. U21 Poland's Borys Siekierka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Duchek in the 27th minute of play. Mirek Pavlica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Polakowski in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radowit Polakowski in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mirek Pavlica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mirek Pavlica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, U21 Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Polakowski came free, but Mirek Pavlica reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirek Pavlica was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Napoleon Konopka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Napoleon Konopka really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to U21 Czech Republic getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Max Duchek hit a great ball. Borys Siekierka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Seibert in the 44th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Duchek during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to U21 Czech Republic getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Max Duchek hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, U21 Poland's Radowit Pruss shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mirek Pavlica came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Poland reached it. After a rather tough play, U21 Czech Republic's Max Duchek got a free kick in the 48th minute.

In the 52nd match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piotr Jakisz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, U21 Czech Republic's Miroslav Milata tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mirek Pavlica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Polakowski in the 56th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Rudolf Duda from a close distance when the talented Borys Siekierka managed to make a qualified save. U21 Poland's players were relieved. Mirek Pavlica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Olchowy, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. U21 Poland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Piotr Jakisz in the 68th minute. Miroslav Milata thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Mirek Pavlica, a very annoying self made goal in the 69th minute which led to 3-0. If Radowit Polakowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U21 Poland made a substitution. Radoslaw Cwojdak replaced Jurand Tuliszewski. U21 Poland's Fe Figner was substituted for Zanko Blaschko. U21 Poland's Napier Dala was substituted for Radowit Polakowski. If Miroslav Seibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Napier Dala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mirek Pavlica was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When U21 Poland's Napoleon Konopka in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Napier Dala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirek Pavlica read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Mirek Pavlica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Konopka in the 87th minute of play. Miroslav Seibert came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Borys Siekierka could save by the left post. Jan Průcha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Florian Olchowy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florian Olchowy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piotr Jakisz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The long shot by Miroslav Milata in the 96th minute really tested Borys Siekierka's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. U21 Czech Republic's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
