Just as he was suppose to be going to Baca, Arsene Wenger said in a press conference yesterday asking Cesc to stay in England till tomorrow. I can't believe Wenger has taken this long he let him go now he wants him to stay till Sunday it madness
thoughts?

i think fabregas may yet regret this decision.Barca already has an insane amount of midfielders and good ones atthat. He will be coming of the bench as a sub just like he does for spain. And that is if he is lucky

Really, some footballers are stupid imo.
Vivasvan20 explained it all. He'll just sit on the bench each match.
Genius...

I think it's Arsene Wenger should have stuck to his gun but being the frog he is, he sold him now

What doesn't make sense to me is that last time they came this close to seeing him go, he signed such a long contract extension when he finally decided to stay. Now it's costing Barca a fortune... Good business for the Arse.
What else is interesting, well I suppose that at the moment there's no sign of interest in taking Hleb back as part of the deal, although that's understandable.
I feel a bit sorry for Thiago Alcantara, a quality young player who would probably have been viewing this season as his big chance to step-up to more regular first-team football. Perhaps they'll sell Mascherano and/or Keita.
At the moment it's Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Keita and Mascherano most in the first-team picture, Afellay a bit on the outskirts, Alcantara the most obvious candidate to step up, and finally Hleb on the distant outskirts.
I'd say Afellay is something different, more versatile in attack than the others, with possible exception of Iniesta. Xavi and Iniesta remain indispensable. I think it may well be that Fabregas eats into Busquets' game time and Alcantara is held back. Mascherano is a good player, wouldn't be a great move to sell him. I'd reckon they clear out Keita, now aged 31, and Hleb, now 30. So then you've got 5 quality established midfield players for a team who will always field at least 3, so I wouldn't say any overcrowding: Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Busquets, Mascherano. Afellay and Alcantara floating around the first-team picture, playing in smaller games.

Players who don't want to wear the Arsenal shirt should leave as soon as possible.. this goes for Fabregas & Nasri. They are currently having a negative impact on the rest of the team. I believe this season will be a good opportunity for Arsenal to prove all the "haters" and the media, that they are stronger without Fabregas.
Since the day Arsenal played Barcelona at Camp Nou in the Champions League, I immediatley noticed that he lacked commitment to the club.. he did not gave his all despite being captain. 40£ million is a very good price for him too.. I belive Arsenal are the winners in this whole cecs-gate

Wenger makes a move for Wesley Sneijder... there's the outside bet... ;)

Not a chance of that at £240K per week.
Woldn't be surprised if Barca are touting Afellay around right now since Alexis Sanchez can operate on the right.
