That's a shame... I smiled when I saw the video title thinking this could be really funny but it's so shoddy. Paul Robinson, as can be seen clearly on some of the replays, was simple bad luck. He is one of the two best current English goalkeepers I think and was treated very shabbily around the time he lost the England #1 position. Single clip of Scott Carson, surely plenty more could've been found, single clip of David James who could surely have a multi-DVD boxset released of his howlers, and although he did have a few bad mistakes, David Seaman was generally a solid keeper and in that clip just beaten by an inch-perfect freekick.
Paul Robinson is one of our two best in my view, the other being Joe Hart.

Ha, that last one is priceless, class find Dom mate :)
I'd put Rob Green around third/fourth. We have a lot of keepers who seemed to have great potential when young but have not quite made it. Chris Kirkland, Scott Carson, Ben Foster, Rob Green, Paul Robinson, Joe Lewis... I also think Steve Harper is a quality keeper, if a bit old now. Shame he didn't play more for Newcastle during his younger years (or leave and play more somewhere else).

I'd say it's Joe Hart, didn't he finish with the best save percentage last season? Just ahead of Cech and Gormless (Gomes) I believe?

Paul Robinson is the second best keeper in England ( it hurts to say Hart is better and younger) and I am sure it would be so easy to put together a video of his great performances since he left Spurs and regained his confidence and Rovers, i never thought we would come close to replacing Brad Friedel but in Robinson we have and its just a shame we let young Frank Fielding go to Derby cos he was behind Robbo and Mark Bunn, I would have kept Fielding and lost Bunn but Bunn is equally a good keeper and english, but 26 but Fielding offered more potential as England u21 keeper

Hart is ok, as is Ben Foster who is probably the best English keeper, Carson and Green make too many mistakes. Joe Lewis is ok and has potential, Robinson is also good, but there is no one outstanding

english keepers are all shite. peter shilton was the last great keeper england had with david seaman and nigel martyn making stupid mistakes at international and club level as the keepers these days.

I don't think Shilton was all that great, certainly not in his later years with England, his agility was rubbish. David Seaman was class until his twilight years, the pony-tail years, that's when his mistakes started to crop up. Nigel Martyn was solid throughout his career, I'd like to hear an example of a "stupid mistake" by him, at either international or indeed club level. Tim Flowers was a pretty good keeper, just unlucky that like Martyn he was in the shadow of Seaman.

His footwork was never great - you can see some similarities with Ronaldinho's goal in the 2002 WC.

Ah memories... I did laugh at Arsenal fans over that one at the time but... yeah I will fault Seaman but it was extremely rare for him to be caught out of position like that, certainly in those days. (God, that pose when he's laying in the goal, what was he thinking...)
