In the 40th match minute, Key Biscayne FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Posey to maneuver through the defense. Key Biscayne FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Tommie Kirkpatrick scored to the left of an out of position Del Hernandez, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
