In the 18th minute, Dênis de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Senon Malta put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelinho Rocha. Marcelinho Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Collante in the 25th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Magalhães to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha got control of the ball when Richard Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adhemar Quadros's late challenge caught a Guaparo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Cássio de Alcântara fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcelinho Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senon Malta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelinho Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senon Malta, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Marcelinho Rocha made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Modesto Amor sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the game, Guaparo FC's Senon Malta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Rocha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Guaparo FC made a substitution. Ur Higuera replaced Cássio de Alcântara. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Modesto Amor put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelinho Rocha. Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senon Malta in the 78th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Fabio Collante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelinho Rocha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute, Senon Malta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Beto Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jr Familia Campos FC's Ramón Velloso got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jr Familia Campos FC's Marcelinho Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Senon Malta in the 95th minute of play.
