Guaparo FC's Vicente Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 2nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Senon Malta in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Delbridge saved Los Muchachos del 86 from getting behind. Senon Malta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roland Delbridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Delbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Senon Malta in the 10th minute of play. Luis María Guadalupe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vicente Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Márcico in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Albino Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After taking down the ball on Guaparo FC's corner Senon Malta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roland Delbridge quite easily take care of the ball. Roland Delbridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Senon Malta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Los Muchachos del 86's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Collante who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Senon Malta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roland Delbridge quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute Ricardo-Enrique Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Guaparo FC defense, Asiz Soon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Guimarães. The Guaparo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Guimarães should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Senon Malta got free with Roland Delbridge in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Saer's late challenge caught a Los Muchachos del 86's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Saer helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guaparo FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristiano Saer hit a great ball. Matias Aznar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luis María Guadalupe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Guaparo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Muchachos del 86 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Saverio Brion made the kick off in the second half. If Asiz Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 58 minutes into the match, Guaparo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Brion came free, but Vicente Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guaparo FC's Senon Malta got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Izar charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Izar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Aureliano Izar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Muchachos del 86 were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Guaparo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Urtzi took the corner. Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis María Guadalupe in the 78th minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. In the 84thth minute of the game Senon Malta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Muchachos del 86's zone, Senon Malta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Delbridge came out of the goal and Senon Malta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Senon Malta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Muchachos del 86's Roland Delbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Los Muchachos del 86's Bernardino Bernal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Guaparo FC made a substitution. Ur Higuera replaced Luis María Guadalupe. The Guaparo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Muchachos del 86's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Muchachos del 86.
