To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes in the game Louis Ragland did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kris Marks. The supporters of Santos FC booed when klide13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Curtil didn't get a good kick on the ball. klide13's Bixente Poli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save klide13 from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Ragland during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Louis Ragland. In the 22nd minute Flavien Pirat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Errol Sharpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Allio made a great header on klide13's corner, it was just that Santos FC's Errol Sharpe managed to reach the ball for a save. Arnaud Bouffard's late challenge caught a Santos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaud Bouffard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th match minute, klide13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaud Bouffard to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Arnaud Bouffard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaud Bouffard came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Errol Sharpe could save by the left post. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Constantin Allio was slow to take the kick. During this time klide13's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Bixente Le almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santos FC's Errol Sharpe did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaud Bouffard got free with Errol Sharpe in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hans Ladd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bixente Poli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavien Pirat in the 71st minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Errol Sharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Arnaud Bouffard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Errol Sharpe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 76 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bixente Le came free, but Errol Sharpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
