Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyron Velasquez in the 18th minute. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Pennington in the 19th minute of the match. Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes Santos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Dean who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Damian Dean almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood did a great save. Recolta Alamor's Nacho Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Recolta Alamor from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dean came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Wes Nichols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Santos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Dean came free, but Aaron Smallwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Dean in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Smallwood saved Santos FC from getting behind. Aaron Smallwood stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Dean's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Lanny Gilmore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nacho Gonzalez was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Wes Nichols made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Smallwood. Santos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Dean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Pennington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aaron Smallwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute of the game Bradley Marin made a throw-in which Wes Nichols played forward. Wes Nichols hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Damian Dean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Smallwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood got control of the ball when Emmanuel Pennington tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Santos FC's Tyron Velasquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nacho Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Recolta Alamor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dominic Albright was slow to take the kick. During this time Santos FC's players had a chance to rest. Tory Weeks hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Aaron Smallwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emmanuel Pennington in the 77th minute. Aaron Smallwood was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emmanuel Pennington showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 77 minute of play. 80 minutes in the game, Damian Dean fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aaron Smallwood having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Allan Caudill. The Recolta Alamor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Recolta Alamor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
