Cãlin Damaschin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casado Naveda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 51st minute Felix Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cãlin Damaschin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casado Naveda was left in no man's land by his defense there!
