In the 35th minute, Saverio Fermosel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olo Uriarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. OLIMPIA's Lartaun Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Onis in the 40th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mátyás Borbás made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mátyás Borbás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Marin Ordoñez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lartaun Ibar skillfully saved the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Ordoñez couldn't finish the play.
