Spectators: 7061 (Terracing: 5297, Seating: 1624, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bartolo Regis started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sonata Arctica getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Julian Cordeara hit a great ball. Enzo Harkaitz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by LOS DIABLOS 's Bartolo Regis. But to his dismay, Bartolo Regis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Anacleto Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Higinio Abeita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Ihintza hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sonata Arctica booed when LOS DIABLOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Anacleto Eusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilgot Wennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enzo Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The wind increased when Anacleto Eusko made the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Eusko hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sonata Arctica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximino Ihintza was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS DIABLOS 's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Maximino Ihintza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sonata Arctica's Enzo Harkaitz did a great save. Victoriano Leheren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Eusko in the 76th minute of the match. Anacleto Eusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sonata Arctica's Silverio Mede got a free kick in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Sonata Arctica's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Regis came free, but Enzo Harkaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th match minute, LOS DIABLOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Vincente to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Leheren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Abeita went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
