In the 5th minute Fidel Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Uriel Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LOS DIABLOS 's Victoriano Leheren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Quintyn in the 15th minute of play. LOS DIABLOS 's Bartolo Regis got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Silvio Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ture Harlén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Leheren came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by DIEGO's Victorino Quintyn. But to his dismay, Victorino Quintyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gavino Txilar charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Txilar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gavino Txilar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Uriel Pueblo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, LOS DIABLOS 's Jonathan Santana got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Uriel Pueblo came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the DIEGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Pueblo couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Regis was the one to do the kick off. Ture Harlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Regis in the 52nd minute of the match. Uriel Pueblo came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Victoriano Leheren could save by the left post. Victoriano Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Quintyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Cordarin's late challenge caught a DIEGO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Cordarin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LOS DIABLOS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Agustin Cordarin hit a great ball. 71 minutes in the game, Uriel Pueblo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victoriano Leheren having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Paolo Leoncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 minutes of play, LOS DIABLOS 's Agustin Cordarin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Harlén was left in no man's land by his defense there! DIEGO's Ture Harlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Regis in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, DIEGO's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Cordarin came free, but Ture Harlén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DIEGO's Ture Harlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Cordarin in the 92nd minute of play. Victorino Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Victoriano Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Txilar hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
