Spectators: 10858 (Terracing: 8145, Seating: 2497, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rigan Frankson kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 3rd minute of play forced Lamestars's goalkeeper Sylwester Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sylwester Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aban McBjarton in the 5th minute of play. Brazil Rogers hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Torrey Molloy scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylwester Kasperowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Begg Scully in the 14th minute of play. Lamestars's Sylwester Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beagan Colwell in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Rigan Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1948 MKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigan Frankson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Kasperowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Begg Scully recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Arnold McDecland got a free kick in the 28th minute. 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Rigan Frankson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sylwester Kasperowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Deery made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goalkeeper Sylwester Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torrey Molloy. Sylwester Kasperowicz made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Torrey Molloy sent off a good shot on target. Mack Willson's late challenge caught a Lamestars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mack Willson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Mack Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lamestars's Séamus Morrison was substituted for Begg Scully. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Mack Willson got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Sylwester Kasperowicz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy. But to his dismay, Torrey Molloy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Lamestars made a substitution. Breccan Molloy replaced Robin Hoeybroeck. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Lamestars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torrey Molloy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sylwester Kasperowicz having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goalkeeper Sylwester Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torrey Molloy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigan Frankson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Kasperowicz saved Lamestars from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Frankson came free, but Sylwester Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torrey Molloy came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sylwester Kasperowicz could save by the left post. Sylwester Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigan Frankson in the 89th minute of play. When Marcin Rudy fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lamestars's protests and gave Marcin Rudy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Lamestars's Marcin Rudy got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lamestars's zone, Ersin Uyguralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Kasperowicz came out of the goal and Ersin Uyguralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1948 MKS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
